Configuration

Defaults in dobot.config.Config are:

SERVER_IP = "127.0.0.1"
SERVER_PORT = 8000
DOBOT_IP = "192.168.1.6"
INSTANCE_NAME = "Ctrl"
TIMEOUT = 5
LOGGER_LEVEL = "INFO"

Config.load_yaml(path) updates class attributes, whereas Config(yaml_path=path) updates only that instance. Relative paths are resolved against the caller’s file.

SERVER_IP: "127.0.0.1"
SERVER_PORT: 8000
DOBOT_IP: "192.168.1.6"
INSTANCE_NAME: "Ctrl"

The packaged server_fastapi.server reads Config class attributes. Load configuration appropriately before constructing the server if you use a YAML file.

Note: Config.load_yaml() changes class attributes only within the calling Python process. The packaged python -m dobot.server_fastapi.server entry point does not automatically load YAML. See Server and client implementation.
